A Fun Message Board From A Vintage Grater

I recently sold a message board like this one and it was so easy to make.  I thought I would share this with you.

This is a vintage Grater....the kind you see at flea markets and antique malls.  They are quite inexpensive.  I put the handle in a vise and with both hands bent the grater part at an angle so that it would stand up.

Then I found some interesting clips at my local hardware store.  All that is left to do is clip on your recipes or messages to your family.

I'm hoping to fill this blog with things that interest me......mostly decorating  and creating useful and decorative things out of vintage materials.  My hubby has similar ideas....so I am beginning my first post with a few of his lamps.

He is going to make some table top fountains soon.  I can't wait to see those!  He has been collecting colorful bowling balls.  This should be good!
